The ultimate carnivore dessert! High in fat and protein, this bowl of decadence will leave you feeling satisfied.
This is my family's go to Carnivore dessert! It is so delicious and very easy to make without all the junk that most store bought ice creams have in them.
Decadent and naturally sweet without any added sugar or sweeteners.
This is the perfect low carb high fat dessert if you tolerate dairy in your diet. If you don't tolerate dairy, you may tolerate raw cream. If you're not sure where you can get raw dairy, check out this raw milk finder.
Carnivore Ice Cream Recipe
Most of these ingredients you'll probably already have on hand. You may have to pick up the beef gelatin powder. The vanilla extract is optional and you can also use sugar free flavoring such as Capella Vanilla Bean Multi Purpose Flavoring:
2 cups heavy whipping cream
4 egg yolks
This recipe is so simple and only takes 30 minutes to make! You will need an ice cream maker. In the video below I am using an ice cream attachment for my stand mixer but, my attachment recently broke, so now I'm using an ice cream maker:
Add 1/2 cup of heavy cream and the gelatin to a small sauce pan. Heat the cream on low to medium heat and whisk until the gelatin dissolves.
Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites and add the yolks to a large mixing bowl.
Add the remaining 1 1/2 cups of the heavy whipping cream, sea salt, and vanilla extract to the mixing bowl and whisk until well combined.
Add the 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream and gelatin mixture to the mixing bowl and whisk.
Pour the cream mixture into the ice cream maker. Churn until thick. Serve immediately and enjoy!
This ice cream is great when eaten on its own. If you eat keto desserts, it's perfect on top of a slice of cake or brownie. It also does well in the freezer. Just take it out and let it sit on the counter for 10 minutes or so until it softens.
